Action Item: Just got the green light on upcoming exhibit/auction. Opening Saturday November 3. Details TK. As in, location, which I still don't know. In this episode, the artists keep 60% of the profit. This is not a benefit. More of a "ZOMG! The Artists! They are emerging!" function. So my work in the August benefit auction didn't get sold. the paintings are brats (more scribbles from the good work)
Since I acquired large watercolor paper, I've been working on a tea painting all spring. It's 18" x 24" and it's a PAIN IN MY ASS. I put it aside recently to ink some smaller pieces, one of which is almost done. I've taught myself to stop when a painting is done, and I've taught myself to recognize oncoming "done".
